Jennifer Ellison brings an extensive amount of experience in both government and private sectors to her role as Senior Advisor at Blank Rome Government Relations LLC.
Drawing on congressional and corporate experience, Jennifer guides commercial entities, defense contractors, and research firms in executing their strategic and legislative objectives across the federal space.
Jennifer joins BRGR from the BMW Group where she served as vice president, special sales development. In this role, she executed a strategic objective to develop, certify, and field a new armored vehicle platform for the U.S. government. She managed corporate, supplier, and customer program operations across the international space, to include classified testing, production, and delivery, as well as after-marketing maintenance for embassies, consulates, and other federal end-users.
Prior to BMW, Jennifer developed and executed the corporate legislative objectives for a multibillion division within European defense contractor BAE Systems, focusing on tactical and commercial armored vehicles, personal protection, and artillery programs. She also managed relationships with all relevant House and Senate offices, composed legislative request support materials, and engaged on appropriations and policy activity affecting both U.S.-based and international business units.
Jennifer was a committee staff assistant for the House Armed Services Committee where she coordinated and prepared classified and unclassified hearings and briefings for the Military Personnel Subcommittee and HASC Committee Defense Review activities. Jennifer started her career in state politics in Columbus, OH, where she was a legislative aide at the Ohio House of Representatives.
Jennifer received a diploma in National Security & Strategic Studies from the United States Naval War College in Washington, D.C. She received her B.A. in Diplomacy & Foreign Affairs at Miami University in Oxford, OH. She also studied at John Dolibois European Center in Differdange, Luxembourg, and the Army War College in Carlisle, PA.
