Blank Rome Government Relations Principal&nbsp;Katie Kachel&nbsp;will serve as a panelist at the South West Transit Association (“SWTA”) / Texas Transit Association (“TTA”)&nbsp;<a href="https://www.swta.org/news_events/details/swta-tta-2021-joint-annual-conference">2022 Joint Annual Conference</a>, being held February 22 through 26, 2022, in Austin, Texas.

Katie’s panel, “SWTA &amp; TTA Legislative &amp; Advocacy Session,” will take place on Wednesday, February 23, from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m., as part of the Engagement &amp; Innovation Track.

With rollout underway of the recently passed Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (“BIL”) / Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (“IIJA”) at the federal level and the Texas State Legislature currently in session, the panelists will take a look at the key details of recent and proposed legislation at the federal and state levels, followed by a discussion of how best to affect results of SWTA and TTA’s respective legislative and policy priorities.
