The conference will deep dive into “Disruption &amp; Opportunity in Maritime: Breaking Free from the Status Quo” and be followed by an evening celebrating students, organizations, and maritime experts working to protect our marine environment. Joan’s topic for the conference, “Maritime Policy under Different Political Parties: Environmental Considerations,” is part of the “Geopolitical Forces in Maritime: Navigating a Complex Landscape” session, taking place from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.

Other topics in that session include "Geopolitical Impacts on Shipping" and "Global Maritime Security Challenges."

The conference will also include a session titled “Forging the Future: Integrating Talent, Resilience, Innovation, and Investment in Maritime” and a leadership roundtable, “Innovative Partnerships &amp; Collaborations.”
